Red Sox's Tyler Thornburg: Progressing slowly
Thornburg (shoulder) is still working to build strength in his shoulder but may start to throw Monday, Brian MacPherson of the Providence Journal reports.
The right-hander is gradually working toward a season debut that could happen as early as May. Whenever he can return to regular-season action, Thornburg will probably need to complete some low-leverage work before reclaiming his title as Boston's backup closer.
