Lopez was optioned to Triple-A Louisville on Monday, Charlie Goldsmith of The Cincinnati Enquirer reports.
Lopez wasn't part of the Reds' Opening Day roster but has already been recalled and optioned three times apiece. His latest stint on the active roster lasted over a month and saw him hit .238/.333/.286 in 23 games.
