Reds' Billy Hamilton: Ends stolen-base drought

Hamilton went 3-for-5 with two runs scored, an RBI and a stolen base in Sunday's 8-7 loss to the Dodgers.

Hamilton's second-inning theft of second base ended a 13-game stretch without a stolen base, which represented the longest drought of his career. That prolonged skid likely quashes any chance Hamilton had at swiping 100 bags this season, but he still owns a three-steal cushion over the Nationals' Trea Turner -- who needed a four-steal game Sunday just to slide into second place -- for the league lead.
