The Reds selected Bedrosian's contract Monday.
The transaction clears the way for Bedrosian to join the Reds' Opening Day bullpen after he was able to impress while attending spring camp as a non-roster invitee. Over 8.2 innings, Bedrosian was charged with four earned runs, but he held opponents to a .103 average while generating 16 strikeouts. He could factor into the setup mix in front of the Reds' top closing candidates, Amir Garrett and Lucas Sims.
