Tucker (foot) is out of the lineup Wednesday against the Mets.
With a team off day looming Thursday, the Reds decided to hold Tucker out for the second game in a row in order to give him more time to recover. His absence will clear a spot in the lineup for Phillip Ervin, who will start in left field and hit second.
