Senzatela allowed two runs on seven hits and no walks with seven strikeouts through six innings, taking a no-decision in Wednesday's 3-2 win over Atlanta.
Senzatela handled every opposing bat not named Eddie Rosario on the night, as the Atlanta outfielder produced the RBI single and solo homer that accounted for all of the damage against the Colorado right-hander's line. Wednesday also saw a jump in strikeouts for Senzatela. The 26-year-old has punched out four or fewer in 17 of 25 starts this season, but he found enough grip to rack up seven strikeouts in rain-soaked Atlanta. He'll look to build on this performance in his next outing, which is tentatively scheduled to come Tuesday against the Dodgers.
