De La Rosa (5-4) gave up six hits, an earned run and five walks over six innings in Saturday's 11-6 victory over the D-backs. He struck out six.
The 35-year-old seems to have left his early-season struggles in the rearview mirror for the time being, with Saturday's effort representing his second straight quality start, and fourth straight solid appearance overall. De La Rosa entered June with a seemingly implausible 10.52 ERA, but has now lowered that figure by over four full runs. He's also rattled off four straight wins, but will be hard-pressed to make it five in a row when he faces off against Clayton Kershaw and the Dodgers on Friday.
