Gordon went 1-for-3 with a walk and a solo home run Saturday during the Royals' 5-2 victory over the Twins.
Gordon put on a rare power display with his sixth big fly of the year. Despite a four-game hitting streak, he remains stuck in a disappointing campaign (.203/.285/.297 in 473 plate appearances) over which he's been a majority starter chiefly because he bats left-handed and plays stout defense. If only the latter counted in standard fantasy games.
