Benintendi was removed from Tuesday's game against the White Sox with an apparent left shoulder injury, Joel Goldberg of Bally Sports Kansas City reports.
Benintendi suffered the injury during the fourth inning while sliding into second base on a successful steal, and he promptly left the field with an athletic trainer. The 27-year-old's shoulder was supported by the trainer while he was leaving the field, so it won't be surprising if he requires a trip to the injured list.
