Royals' JaCoby Jones: Gets minor-league deal with Royals

Jones signed a minor-league contract with the Royals on Wednesday.

The 29-year-old outfielder hit .243/.316/.451 from 2019 through 2020 with the Tigers, but he hit just .170/.210/.250 in 36 games last season. It's possible Jones could join the big-league roster at some point this season if he performs well at Triple-A.
