Royals' MJ Melendez: Out of lineup Sunday

Melendez is not in the lineup for Sunday's game against the Tigers, Joel Goldberg of Bally Sports Kansas City reports.

Melendez will take a seat for the series finale since lefty Brant Hurter is scheduled to work as Detroit's primary pitcher. Dairon Blanco is starting in left field and batting ninth Sunday.
