Davis (elbow) will continue his rehab assignment Monday at Triple-A Omaha and will likely be activated no earlier than Friday, Jeffrey Flanagan of MLB.com reports.
The plan for Davis was to throw several times in the minors before he made his way back to the big club. This will conveniently line things up for a return after rosters expand in September. Davis said he "felt good" after his first rehab appearance Wednesday, so barring a setback, expect him back in the Royals bullpen within the week.
