Scott Rice: Signs minor-league deal with D-Backs

Rice signed a minor-league deal with the Diamondbacks on Friday, Yahoo! Sports' Jeff Passan reports.

The 34-year-old southpaw had a 1.82 ERA and 43 strikeouts in 39.2 innings at Triple-A Las Vegas last year, so he could be a useful organizational depth piece.
