Tigers' Cameron Maybin: Hit by pitch in rehab outing Sunday

Maybin was removed from Sunday's rehab game at Triple-A Toledo after he was hit by a pitch on the wrist, Katie Strang of ESPN.com reports.

Maybin was reaching the final stages of his recovery from a non-displaced hairline fracture in his left wrist, but Sunday's development throws a wrench into those plans. After a battery of tests is undertaken, the Tigers' organization will likely deduce whether this is in fact a setback.
