Tigers' Christin Stewart: Beginning rehab stint Wednesday
Stewart (concussion) will begin a rehab stint with Triple-A Toledo on Wednesday.
Stewart faced a setback in his recovery and was pulled off his rehab assignment following a failed concussion test, but he now appears to be back on the right track. Per Chris McCosky of The Detroit News, manager Ron Gardenhire said Tuesday that Stewart will play in five games at Toledo before rejoining the big club. Expect the Tigers to activate him from the 7-day injured list around the middle of next week.
