Zimmermann (4-2) allowed four runs on seven hits and a walk while striking out six batters over six innings during Thursday's win over Baltimore.
The veteran righty has allowed four runs or more in six of his eight starts and currently sports a disappointing 6.25 ERA, 1.61 WHIP and 5.6 K/9. Zimmermann was a fantasy stalwart for half a decade, but the American League has been cruel, and he's no longer a trustworthy option against most opponents. There is potential for him to turn things around, but it's probably best to take a wait-and-see approach with Zimmermann. He lines up for a daunting road start against Houston next.
