Harrison (shoulder) will begin a minor-league rehab assignment with Low-A Lakeland on Thursday.
Harrison has been sidelined since April 28 with a shoulder injury. While this marks the final step in his recovery process, the Tigers have not yet specified how many rehab games the veteran infielder will need to appear in before being cleared to return, leaving his return date uncertain.
