Jaye (1-2) earned the loss after allowing six runs (five earned) on five hits and two walks while striking out one batter in 1.2 innings Saturday against the White Sox.

It was another forgettable outing from Jaye, who has now allowed 12 earned runs across just 5.1 innings in two starts since replacing Artie Lewicki in the Tigers' rotation. While Jaye held his own in a pair of long-relief appearances before entering the rotation, he hasn't been able to find the same success as a starter. He's expected to remain in the rotation despite his struggles; his next start is lined up for Friday against the Twins.
