Mejia gave up two runs on five hits and three walks while striking out three in 4.2 innings of the second game of Saturday's doubleheader against the Indians.

There was a lengthy rain delay when Mejia was on the mound in the fifth inning, and when play resumed, the Twins turned the game over to the bullpen. Of course, with Mejia's pitch count at 85 (54 strikes), he probably would have been pulled after the fifth inning if there were no delay. His next start will come next weekend against the Indians again, this time in Cleveland.
