Twins' Andrelton Simmons: Idle for first doubleheader game

Simmons is out of the lineup for the first game of Monday's doubleheader with the White Sox.

Jorge Polanco will draw the start at shortstop in place of Simmons, who is presumably on the bench for maintenance purposes in Game 1 of the twin bill. The slick-fielding Simmons should slot back into the lineup for the nightcap.
