Buxton (hip) is out of the lineup for Tuesday's game against the Royals.
The 30-year-old was lifted from Monday's contest due to right hip discomfort and will be out of the starting nine for at least one game. Manuel Margot will receive a start in center field Tuesday while Buxton sits.
