The Twins recalled Cave on Sunday.
Cave was summoned from Triple-A Rochester to replace Willians Astudillo (hamstring). Cave had filled a reserve outfielder role for the team prior to being sent down Wednesday and has hit .233/.324/.267 across 34 plate appearances this season. He is not in the starting lineup Sunday and will continue to serve as depth.
