Light was recalled by the Twins on Sunday, Mike Berardino of the St. Paul Pioneer Press reports.
Light was acquired from Boston in a deadline deal, and the lefty will now get his first taste of Major League action with his new club. Between Triple-A Pawtucket and Triple-A Rochester, Light is a perfect 9-for-9 on save opportunities, posting a combined 2.37 ERA. The 25-year-old will be a strong boost to the back end of a Minnesota bullpen that has struggled this year.
