Twins OF Shane Robinson opts for free agency
Twins outfielder Shane Robinson will elect to become a free agent, Mike Berardino of the St. Paul Pioneer Press reports.
Robinson was outrighted from the 40-man roster Wednesday and had the option to accept free agency if he so chose. Robinson served as a utility outfielder throughout much of the season, so there might be at least a little bit of interest on the market.
