Marshall (shoulder) was activated off the 10-day injured list Friday.

Marshall will wind up missing just the minimum 10 days with shoulder inflammation. He'll be a useful piece for the White Sox's final series of the season, as his ERA sits at 2.49 for the second straight year. Jose Ruiz was optioned in a corresponding move.
