White Sox's Jon Jay: Making slow progress
Jay (hip) played catch Monday and is nearing tee work, James Fegan of The Athletic reports.
Jay continues to slowly make his way back from a hip injury, although there's still no timetable for when he could be activated from the 10-day injured list. Considering he hasn't started to hit off a tee quite yet, he likely isn't all that close to returning.
