White Sox's Leury Garcia: Could play in postseason

Garcia (thumb) has been working out at the White Sox's alternate training site and hasn't been ruled out for the playoffs, Daryl Van Schouwen of the Chicago Sun-Times reports.

Garcia sprained his thumb back in mid-August and wound up undergoing surgery. He appears to be nearly ready to play, though whether or not he's ready for the start of the Wild Card Series, which begins Tuesday, remains to be seen.
