Garcia went 3-for-4 with a double, a hit-by-pitch and a stolen base in Tuesday's 6-3 win over the Athletics.

Garcia started for the sixth time in seven games since Tim Anderson (hamstring) was added to the injured list. Five of those starts came at shortstop in place of Anderson and the sixth came at second base. White Sox manager Tony La Russa said Tuesday that Anderson is "pushing it a little more every day," but there is no target date yet for when he'll rejoin the team. In the meantime, Garcia has thrived with consistent at-bats. He's 11-for-21 (.524) with three doubles, four RBI, one steal and two runs scored over the last six games.
