Lopez (2-3) collected the win after allowing four runs on seven hits and two walks in seven innings Saturday against the Tigers. He struck out one batter.

Lopez was able to deliver his longest start of the season despite dealing with a bothersome head cold, Colleen Kane of the Chicago Tribune reports. While he failed to secure a quality start for the first time in four outings, the 23-year-old was still able to pick up a victory, his second in as many weeks. His strikeout count has slowed in recent weeks after he fanned 19 batters in his first three starts (16.1 innings), notching just four strikeouts in his following three outings. He'll carry a 4.84 ERA and 1.33 WHIP into his next start, which is scheduled for Friday against the Royals.
