Wilson Betemit showing power at Triple-A

Rays infielder Wilson Betemit is showing power at Triple-A Durham.

The club has had some trouble with left-handed hitting early in the year. Both Brandon Guyer and Logan Forsythe have had issues in the early going. The team could opt to callup Betemit for help. He's hitting just .239, but he's added seven home runs and a .333 on-base percentage. 

Betemit's contract contains a July 1 opt-out.
