Wells is sidelined at High-A Hudson Valley with a groin injury, Baseball America reports.
He took a foul tip to his right groin area while catching against Brooklyn on May 17 and has not returned. Wells was due for a promotion prior to the injury, having hit .323/.429/.576 with six home runs and a 22.7 K% in 28 games.
