The Yankees reassigned Lindgren to minor league camp Sunday, Sweeny Murti of WFAN reports.

Lindgren's age-22 season was cut short to a bone spur in his throwing elbow, and the addition of Aroldis Chapman (suspension) in the offseason solidified most of the spots in the Yankees' bullpen. In three spring appearances, Lindgren didn't exactly help his cause with four runs allowed in 2.1 innings, though all of those occurred in his very first showing. With the move to minor league camp, the southpaw will act as organizational depth.
