Manager Aaron Boone said Britton (elbow) is scheduled to throw a bullpen session Tuesday, Meredith Marakovits of YES Network reports.
The 34-year-old continues his recovery from the left elbow surgery he underwent last September, and his return to mound work will be a significant step in his rehab program. Britton will likely need to continue building his arm up for a bit before facing live hitters, but he's on track to be available during the second half of the season.
