    • Indians' Tyler Naquin: Undergoes surgery
      By RotoWire Staff

Naquin underwent knee surgery Thursday, Kristie Ackert of the New York Daily News reports. Naquin has been ruled out for the season after suffering a torn ACL in late August. Recovery from the surgery is expected to keep him out for 7-to-9 months, meaning he'll return to action somewhere between mid-April and mid-June.

Naquin (knee) was transferred to the 60-day injured list Sunday, Mandy Bell of MLB.com reports. Naquin suffered a torn ACL in his right knee Saturday, and his season has already been declared over. The move does free up roster space for the team to close the season, however.

      By RotoWire Staff

Naquin was placed on the 10-day injured list Saturday with a torn ACL in his right knee. Jake Bauers was recalled to take Naquin's spot on the roster and may play quite a bit in left field in Naquin's absence with Greg Allen struggling of late. The Indians have not said whether surgery will be necessary. If Naquin does go under the knife, he could be looking at a 6-to-9-month recovery, putting him in danger of missing the start of next season.
