    • Bradford allowed four runs on three hits and three walks over an inning of relief work Wednesday against the Cubs. He helped turn this game from a loss into a rout with a poor seventh inning -- the second implosion Bradford's suffered through in his last five appearances. Curiously, Bradford has delivered scoreless work in 13 of his last 15 appearances, with these two disasters serving as the exceptions. Nonetheless, he sees few hold opportunities and isn't a quality source of ratios, so it's hard to imagine owning him in fantasy.

      Bradford was recalled from Triple-A Las Vegas on Tuesday, Marc Carig of Newsday reports. With Addison Reed being sent off the team via trade, Bradford will head to the big leagues to plug the hole in the bullpen. However, he likely won't act as much more than a middle reliever given his 4.04 ERA in the minors and his 7.50 ERA in six innings with New York this season.

      Bradford was sent down to Triple-A Las Vegas on Sunday, Marc Carig of Newsday reports. Bradford allowed two earned runs off three hits and a walk during two innings of work against the Rockies on Sunday. Although he struck out three in the process, Bradford has gotten hit pretty hard during two of his five outings with the big-league team. The 27-year-old will head back to Las Vegas for the time being.

      The Mets made several roster moves Monday, which included optioning Erik Goeddel, Steven Matz, Josh Edgin and Wilfredo Tovar to the minors. Logan Verrett, Adam Kolarek, Chasen Bradford, Dustin Lawley, Brandon Nimmo, Cory Vaughn, Danny Muno and Kevin Plawecki were also reassigned to minor-league camp.
