Harrison was optioned to Triple-A Jacksonville on Wednesday, Christina De Nicola of MLB.com reports. Harrison was recalled by the Marlins shortly before the All-Star break, and he went 1-for-5 with a double and two strikeouts across three appearances with the major-league club. Right-hander Nick Neidert was recalled from Triple-A Jacksonville in a corresponding move.

Harrison was briefly with the big-league club in early May, but he has spent the majority of his season with Triple-A Jacksonville. He's managed a .260/.324/.440 line at the level across 111 plate appearances, though he's striking out at a 37.8 percent clip. Harrison will serve as depth in the outfield while Adam Duvall (side ) remains unavailable.

The Marlins optioned Harrison to Triple-A Jacksonville on Monday, Jordan McPherson of the Miami Herald reports. In addition to Harrison, the Marlins also optioned another one of their top position prospects in first baseman Lewin Diaz to Jacksonville, where both he and Harrison will be able to play on an everyday basis. With Corey Dickerson, Starling Marte and Adam Duvall all seemingly locked in as at least large-side platoon players in the outfield, Harrison likely wouldn't have been in line to play more than two or three times per week had he made the Marlins' Opening Day roster.
Harrison went 1-for-3 with a walk and a stolen base Wednesday as the Marlins beat the Red Sox 8-4. Harrison stole his fourth bag of the season Wednesday night but the young outfielder continues to struggle at the plate with a .146/.222/.244 slash line to go along with 24 strikeouts in 41 at-bats. He should be back on the bench Thursday assuming Starling Marte (undisclosed) is able to return to the lineup.
