Cedrola signed a minor-league contract with the Mets in January. The outfielder spent the 2022 season in the Cincinnati organization, and slashed .267/.303/.356 with four home runs in 124 games with Triple-A Louisville. He'll likely be heading to Triple-A Syracuse to begin this season.

Cedrola elected free agency after the season. He was traded from the Red Sox to the Reds in 2018 for international bonus pool money. The 24-year-old outfielder hit .267/.303/.356 with four home runs and 15 steals in 124 games at Triple-A in 2022.
