    • Rangers' Shin-Soo Choo: Hits 20th homer
      By RotoWire Staff

Choo went 2-for-4 with a solo home run and two runs scored during Thursday's win over Seattle. It's been another solid cross-category showing from the veteran outfielder, as Choo is now up to 20 homers, 75 RBI, 12 stolen bases and 93 runs with a .264/.359/.421 slash line. Those numbers move the needle in the majority of settings, and Choo's role in the top third of the Texas lineup has helped his fantasy floor and game-to-game consistency.

    • Choo went 2-for-4 with a run and RBI in Wednesday's 8-6 win over the Mariners. Choo stepped to the plate with the bases loaded in the sixth inning and came close to delivering the Rangers' second grand slam of the night, but he was forced to settle for a sacrifice fly after Mariners center fielder Guillermo Heredia robbed him at the wall. Though he missed out on a bigger night, Choo's two-hit performance spelled an end to a 3-for-20 slump over the previous six contests.

    • Choo went 1-for-4 with three strikeouts in Sunday's 4-2 win over the Angels. Choo was far from the only Rangers hitter to struggle with making contact Sunday, as Angels pitchers struck out 15 of the 35 batters they faced on the afternoon. That being said, Choo has still been lagging offensively over the last five contests, managing only three hits in 17 at-bats while scoring one run and driving in two. The brief skid won't result in Choo's removal from an everyday role, however, so fantasy owners who have been depending on him all season should continue to deploy him as normal.

    • Rangers' Shin-Soo Choo: Drives in two Monday
      By RotoWire Staff

Choo went 2-for-4 with a double, two RBI and a run in Monday's 5-3 win over the Mariners. Both of Choo's RBI came on a second-inning double, with leadoff man Delino DeShields' game-changing speed aiding the veteran's production. DeShields and Choo have formed an excellent tandem at the top of the order due to the strong on-base skills both possess, with Choo's power hitting also providing an ideal complement to DeShields' baserunning skills. Choo has already tallied six extra-base hits in 36 at-bats in September.

    • Rangers' Shin-Soo Choo: Scores twice Friday
      By RotoWire Staff

Choo went 2-for-5 with a double and two runs in Friday's 11-5 win over the Yankees. Choo has strangely drawn just one walk over his last 20 games, but thanks to some improved contact and good fortune on balls in play, he's delivered a .350 on-base percentage during that span. Fantasy owners will certainly trade the uptick in Choo's average for the dip in plate discipline, as the outfielder is now sitting at a respectable .264 mark for the season.
