    • Cody allowed a run on three hits and three walks with one strikeout in five innings in a no-decision versus the Astros on Friday. The only run against Cody came on a George Springer triple in the fifth inning. Other than that, Cody was able to keep the Astros in check. The 26-year-old Cody hasn't allowed more than a run in any of his eight appearances (five starts) this year. He ends with a 1.59 ERA, 1.24 WHIP and 18 strikeouts in 22.2 innings.

    • Cody (1-1) picked up the win Sunday against the Angels, allowing one run on three hits across five innings. He fanned five and did not issue a walk. Despite being limited to just 61 pitches, Cody put together by far the best outing of his young career Sunday. The rookie was efficient, throwing 46 strikes while not allowing a free pass on the way to picking up his first big-league victory. The Halos scored their lone run off the right-hander when Taylor Ward followed Justin Upton's double with an RBI single in the bottom of the second. Cody will look to conclude the season on a positive note when he takes the ball against Houston on Friday.

    • Cody allowed one earned run on four hits and two walks while striking out one across three innings Tuesday against the Astros. He did not factor into the decision. Cody remained limited in his pitch count, though he went from 55 pitches in his previous outing to 74 on Tuesday. His struggles to find the zone forced him to work inefficiently, however, leading to another three-inning start. Cody has prevented runs well as he has a 1.42 ERA across 12.2 frames this season, but a 12:10 K:BB suggests his success is unsustainable.

    • Cody allowed one earned run on three hits and three walks while striking out three across 2.1 innings Wednesday against the Angels. He did not factor into the decision. Cody's lack of control led to a very short outing, as he walked three consecutive batters in the third inning and was pulled with the bases loaded. He was spared any additional charged runs after Jesse Chavez entered the game and retired the first two batters he faced to end the frame. Cody has yet to complete more than three innings in any appearance, though this was the first occasion that he surrendered an earned run. He's currently projected to get the chance to return to the mound Tuesday at Houston.

    • Cody (0-1) was charged with the loss Friday against the Mariners, allowing one run (unearned) on one hit and a pair of walks while striking out two. Cody, who was making his first MLB start after tossing 4.1 scoreless innings over three relief appearances, limited the damage to an RBI single to Ty France in the second frame. Luckily, the run was unearned, though it was due to his own throwing error. The 26-year-old stretched it out to 45 pitches this time after tossing 39 in his last relief outing. Cody's ERA remains unblemished on the season to go with a 0.95 WHIP across 7.1 innings of work. The right-hander will take on the Angels on Wednesday.
