    • Suzuki is out of the lineup Sunday against the Nationals. The Braves are continuing to operate their usual rotation behind the plate, so it's now Suzuki's turn to sit out after Tyler Flowers was on the bench for the previous game Friday. The lack of a full-time role hasn't prevented Suzuki from being a useful fantasy asset, particularly in two-catcher formats. He's hitting a respectable .268 over 252 plate appearances this season while chipping in eight home runs, 32 RBI and 31 runs.

    • Braves' Kurt Suzuki: Stays hot at dish
      By RotoWire Staff

Suzuki went 2-for-5 with a double, one RBI and a run scored in Monday's win over the Yankees. Suzuki delivered an RBI double in the fourth inning, tying the game at two. He continues to be productive at the plate, as he's slashing .290/.353/.487 with eight homers and 29 RBI through 59 games. Expect for Suzuki to continue splitting the catching duties with Tyler Flowers moving forward.

    • Braves' Kurt Suzuki: Clubs eighth homer Wednesday
      By RotoWire Staff

Suzuki went 2-for-4 with a home run and two RBI in Wednesday's loss to the Blue Jays. The homer was his eighth of the year and first in June, but Suzuki has still put together a strong .364/.417/.545 slash line through 10 games on the month despite not leaving the yard until Wednesday. He'll continue splitting starts with Tyler Flowers, but both catchers have shown enough with their bats to have value even in shallower fantasy formats despite the cap on their playing time.

    • Braves' Kurt Suzuki: Will be available in Toronto
      By RotoWire Staff

Suzuki (head) passed all concussion tests following his early departure from Sunday's 4-1 win over the Padres and will be available for Tuesday's game against the Blue Jays, Mark Bowman of MLB.com reports. While catching in the second inning Sunday, Suzuki took a bat to the side of the head when Padres hitter Raffy Lopez swung and missed at strike three. The Braves pulled Suzuki from the contest as a precaution, but since he exhibited no concussion-like symptoms and apparently escaped with minimal soreness on the side of his head, he won't be forced to miss any time. Suzuki will be available to catch or serve as a designated hitter Tuesday, but it seems more likely the Braves will restrict him to DH duty for a day as a safeguard.

    • Braves' Kurt Suzuki: Listed as day-to-day
      By RotoWire Staff

Suzuki (head) is being listed as day-to-day after his removal from Sunday's showdown against the Padres, Mark Bowman of MLB.com reports. Suzuki initially left the contest after taking a bat to the helmet while behind the plate, but the team now says it was for precautionary reasons. He was 0-for-1 at the plate prior to being replaced by Tyler Flowers.
