  • White Sox's Jared Kelley: Overcomes foot injury

Kelley (foot) has given up three earned runs on four hits and five walks while striking out four across 4.1 innings since being reinstated from High-A Winston-Salem's 7-day injured list April 27. Kelley missed the first three weeks of the season while recovering from a fractured left foot. He's been gradually ramping up thus far at Winston-Salem and should eventually be capable of making four- or five-inning starts, though working deeper into his outings will be contingent on him limiting walks and being more efficient with his pitches.

  • White Sox's Jared Kelley: Recovering from fractured foot

Kelley is recovering from a fractured left foot and should be ready to go at High-A Winston-Salem by the end of the month, Jim Callis of MLB.com reports. Kelley saw time late last season at Double-A, but he has never pitched at High-A, so that's an obvious starting spot for him once healthy. The hard-throwing righty logged a 3.34 ERA, 1.42 WHIP and 59:40 K:BB in 64.2 innings at Single-A last year.

  • White Sox's Jared Kelley: Battling shoulder injury

White Sox director of player development Chris Getz said that Kelley exited his start Sunday at Low-A Kannapolis in the first inning due to a right shoulder impingement, James Fegan of The Athletic reports. While Getz said that a timeline for Kelley's return hasn't been established, the White Sox believe the 2020 second-round pick will pitch again this season. Over 10 starts with Kannapolis, the 19-year-old righty has posted a 6.86 ERA, 2.05 WHIP and 25:22 K:BB across 21 innings.

  • White Sox's Jared Kelley: Comes off IL

Low-A Kannapolis reinstated Kelley (elbow) from its 7-day injured list ahead of his scheduled start Wednesday in the first half of a doubleheader versus Fayetteville. Kelley, one of the White Sox's most highly touted pitching prospects, will make his return to Kannapolis after he was on the shelf for approximately two months with right elbow inflammation. He was cleared to rejoin the Kannapolis rotation after making a pair of rehab starts in the rookie-level Arizona Complex League over the past week and a half.

  • White Sox's Jared Kelley: Starts up rehab assignment

Kelley (elbow) made his first rehab appearance Saturday for the White Sox's rookie-level Arizona Complex League affiliate, recording two outs while surrendering three runs on two hits and three walks. Kelley was back in action for the first time since May 22 after he had been shut down for a month and a half with right elbow inflammation. The 2020 second-round pick looked rusty over the weekend, so he'll likely require another tune-up outing or two in the ACL before he rejoins Low-A Kannapolis.

  • White Sox's Jared Kelley: Nursing elbow inflammation

Kelley (elbow) is building back up after being shut down with elbow inflammation in late May, Scott Merkin of MLB.com reports. The highly-rated pitching prospect felt elbow soreness when throwing after his May 22 start, so he was shut down as a precaution. Because of the time off, Kelley will require some time to build up and ready himself for minor-league starts once again.
