Niang cleared the league's COVID-19 health and safety protocols and appears set to return to action Sunday against the Wizards, Keith Pompey of The Philadelphia Inquirer reports.
Niang had been sidelined for four straight games due to COVID-19 protocols, so the 76ers could monitor his playing time carefully even after he appeared to be participating in shootaround Sunday without any limitations. The 6-foot-7 forward has garnered a large role off the bench for the Sixers this season, averagig 10.4 points and 2.5 rebounds across 23.6 minutes per game.
