The 76ers signed Bamba to a one-year deal Wednesday, Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN reports.
Bamba will likely compete with Paul Reed and Dewayne Dedmon for the backup center job behind Joel Embiid in Philadelphia. While Bamba hasn't lived up to his draft status as the No. 6 pick in 2018, he can still provide quality rim protection and space the floor.
