76ers' Richaun Holmes: Shines in start Monday

Holmes scored 24 points (11-19 FG, 1-4 3Pt, 1-1 FT) with 14 rebounds, four assists, one block and one steal across 42 minutes in Monday's 112-109 overtime loss to the Magic.

Holmes filled in as a starter for Jahlil Okafor, who was resting with a sore knee, and he did not disappoint. His 24 points and 14 rebounds were both career-highs and the double-double was just his second of the season. The second-year center has had an increased role since Nerlens Noel was traded to the Mavericks in February, and he's averaging 13.4 points on 62.5 percent from the field with 6.7 rebounds since the All Star break.
