Maxey (quadriceps) has been ruled out for Monday's contest against the Celtics, Tim Bontemps of ESPN.com reports.
Maxey will miss his second straight game with a left quadriceps contusion. The Sixers are completely decimated due to injuries and COVID-19 protocols, so the likes of Isaiah Joe, Aaron Henry and recently acquired Tyler Johnson are likely to play significant minutes against the Celtics. Maxey's next chance to return comes Thursday against the Hawks.
