Knight (COVID-19 health and safety protocols) wasn't re-signed by the Mavericks after his 10-day contract expired Sunday.
Before he entered the protocols last Wednesday, Knight appeared in three games and averaged 10.0 points, 2.7 assists and 2.3 rebounds in 18.3 minutes. Once he completes his quarantine, Knight could look to find work with another team that's had its depth tested due to the rising COVID-19 cases around the league.
