Antetokounmpo registered 47 points (18-23 FG, 3-4 3Pt, 8-11 FT), nine rebounds, three assists one steal and one block in Wednesday's 109-102 win over the Lakers.
The return of Khris Middleton (COVID-19 protocols) hardly impacted Antetokounmpo's massive usage as of late, as the dominant forward attempted at least 20 shots for the fourth time in the last five games en route to his second 40-point game this season. While much of the conversation regarding the 26-year-old has been his increased sharpshooting, Antetokounmpo is actually averaging eerily similar figures from deep (4.6 attempts per game, 30.8 percent) compared to his 2019-20 season when he went on to win his second consecutive MVP. With the Bucks still dealing with a bevy of injuries, expect Antetokounmpo to be a critical factor for the team moving forward.
