Bucks' Tony Snell: Won't play Monday

Snell (ankle) won't play in Monday's preseason game against the Pistons, Charles F. Gardner of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reports.

The Bucks officially acquired Snell from the Bulls in exchange for Michael Carter-Williams on Monday, but Snell won't join the team in Detroit in time for the evening's matchup. Snell is also battling an ankle injury, so it's entirely possible that he would have been held out of the contest regardless. If he's able to return to practice within the next day or two, Snell could make his Bucks debut in Wednesday's exhibition finale against the Pacers.
