Love supplied six points (2-8 FG, 0-3 3Pt, 2-5 FT), 10 rebounds, two assists and one block over 30 minutes during Monday's 129-120 loss to the Warriors in Game 5 of the NBA Finals.

Love came up short in the Cavs' bid to stave off elimination, posting his second poor shooting effort in the last three games. The 28-year-old forward went a combined 3-for-17 in Games 3 and 5, averaging just 7.5 points in those contests. That type of production naturally didn't cut it against a high-powered Warriors squad, and Love's solid efforts on the boards throughout the series weren't enough to offset his occasional offensive struggles. Despite the unfavorable conclusion to the season, Love enjoyed a strong campaign in which he averaged 19.0 points, 11.1 rebounds and 1.9 assists across 31.4 minutes over 60 games. He figures to be a key part of the Cavs' efforts to challenge for a championship in the 2017-18 season.
