Tatum finished Sunday's win over the Rockets with 31 points (12-24 FG, 4-11 3Pt, 3-4 FT), nine rebounds, two assists, one steal and one block.

The Celtics were without Jaylen Brown (knee), so Tatum was the clear No. 1 offensive option, leading the team in field goal attempts, three-point attempts and minutes played (37) in the 107-97 victory. Tatum got off to a rough start with a 7-of-30 shooting performance against the Knicks on Opening Night, followed by an 18-point outing in a blowout loss to Toronto, but he looks to be back on track as the Celtics head into a three-game Week 2 that begins with the second half of a back-to-back Monday at Charlotte.
